About the Author:

John W. Janak has 25 years of experience in various areas of government management and policy development. Mr. Janak is a former employee of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), where he established a centralized grants management office responsible for applying for and receiving over 70 federal grants per year. Mr. Janak participates as a guest speaker on the management of federal grants before state government training academies and national conferences on grants management and is often called upon by various state agencies to help organize grant management teams within their own organizations.
