J. Rudy Spears is the updating author of NAFCU’s Human Resources Practice and Compliance Guide for Credit Unions. He is the president of Human Resource Network, which is located in Tequesta, Florida. Spears obtained his bachelor of science and master of business administration degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi. His educational and professional emphasis is in human resource administration. He worked in banking for more than 15 years as a member of the senior management team. He was Florida Director of Human Resources Consulting for McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. He is the past president of the Sarasota and Daytona chapters of the Society for Human Resources Management. He is a past National and State Chairman of Financial Trade Association Human Resources Committees.
