A Simple, Proven Work Solution for Your Complex Job.
Finance Officers have a lot of responsibilities – managing the finance and accounting functions, handling the strategic planning of revenues and costs, preparing reports for regulators and internal users, and much more. Day-to-day problems, and all the legal and regulatory changes you have to keep up with, can make it difficult to organize your credit union’s finance function.
This is the only comprehensive guide that covers all the financial and accounting responsibilities you face, and gives you proven techniques, examples, and step-by-step guidance. It even helps you keep up as best practices and NCUA and FASB requirements change. And unlike general accounting or financial management texts, this manual focuses only on the issues that affect your credit union. It puts these concepts into your context, so you can readily apply them to your daily activities.
- Follow an organized approach to analyze and improve your credit union’s financial performance
- Spend less time putting out fires
- Don’t waste time figuring out which FASB rules apply to you and what you need to act on
- Have more information and tools to improve your credit union’s financial performance
- Use our sample forms, checklists, examples, and step-by-step guidance to simplify every aspect of your job
