Richard F. Cross, CPP, is president of Risk Management Group, Inc., a consulting firm based in Loudon, Tennessee, that specializes in bank security. He has more than 30 years experience in all aspects of bank security and has had consulting engagements with major financial institutions worldwide. Following service in the Central Intelligence Agency where he was trained in all aspects of security, Mr. Cross entered the private sector with senior security management positions at the Institute for Defense Analysis and the Bank of New York. As a consultant, he has conducted risk assessments, compiled written security procedures, and developed innovative training modules for clients.
