Home Mortgage Disclosure Act | Regulation C

The Home Mortgage Disclosure Act of 1975 (HMDA) (12 USC 2801) requires institutions to disclose the amount and location of their home mortgage activities to the public and to government officials. This act is governed by Regulation C (12 CFR 1003, formerly 12 CFR 203), which annually adjusts the asset-size exemption threshold for depository institutions.
